Hello everyone,
Im going to be in wdw for the 4th of july celebrations and all i know is that its going to be very busy, can anyone give me some info of what to expect and what sort of things will be going on, really need advice as ive only been in november when its pretty quiet , xxxxxxx

Very very busy,doors tend to close arround 10.30 in the morning,last time
we went to discovery cove,as we had gon to mk the year before and the
place was so busy you could do nothing.

The parks will be manic, MK especially. We also did Discovery Cove on the 4th July as a good way to escape the crowds then went to MGM for the evening fireworks The crowds there were shoulder to shoulder, we did no rides but the fireworks were spectacular and the atmosphere was great.
MK also shows the special fireworks on the 3rd, so we saw them then.
Magic Kingdom is absolutely packed on the 4th and aside from the different fireworks it's pretty much business as usual, as they normally do the fireworks on the 3rd why not spend the 4th at either Epcot that adds a special patriotic ending to Illuminations (Epcot deals with the increased crowds better).
Or why not try MGM if they are having their fireworks which they only do on special nights or check the local press and see if there is anything happening in Celebration
