Yes, you pay for tickets for the party - its usually cheaper if you do this in advance. Certain days also get sold out quite early on (weekends and Halloween itself are usually certain sell outs). Tickets go on sale around the end of May (If I remember rightly!).
There is a special Halloween parade - headed up by a ride past by the "headless horseman" - dont miss that its fab. Later on there are special fireworks - "Hallowishes" which are stunning.
You can collect free candy at the trick or treating stations round the park.
Lots of people dress up so this adds to the fun. Its a great night and well worth the money.

It's a great night.
Have a look Here (http://www.thedibb.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=292&Itemid=816) for some information.
We are keeping our fingers crossed the tickets might go on sale end of April beginning of May.
There are a few of us waiting patiently ;)

How much is the cost for this parade? It seems a bit of a cheek to have to pay again when we have already paid for admission.
Is it really worth it? I'm not even sure that we can fit it in yet as our itinerary is jam packed! May have to do a bit of juggling!!!

You arent just paying for the parade.
There are a limited number of tickets sold, so the park is relatively quiet - most rides will be walk ons on very short waits. There is free candy, special shows, a different fireworks display and of course the costumes!
It really is a great night out - MUCH better than paying out for those stupid dinner shows or other "minor attractions" that never seem to deliver what they promise.
The park is open till midnight and you can enter the park with your MNSSHP tickets at 4pm so thats 8 hours of entertainment which I think its pretty good value!!
