Air Boat Rentals!

We are thinking of renting an airboat.
BUT is it really a good idea to let my uncle drive us a round alligator infested water?
Has anyone rented a air boat before?
Anyone got any pics?

There is an airboat rental place along the 192 heading east it is on the right hand side about a mile past Walmart. Lots of people were driving them so it looked Ok. We, however rented an electric boat which had a small outboard motor, that was good.

To be honest, the ones that you can rent are useless, they are extremely underpowered (probably for safety) and are nothing like the ones at boggy creek for example. Personally I thought it was a complete waste of time and money.

We went last July to airboatrentals.com on 192 east past Walmart. We had a 4 seater to ourslelves for an hour and the kids had a go in the drivers seat. We saw loads of wildlife but sadly no gators. Good job as I was scared as the boat rocked whilst the kids swapped seats to drive. Got photo's but I don't how to add them to this.
