We headed to the Beach Club and Cape May at 7.20 and could not believe our eyes when we got there! The noise was unbelievable as we approached and they were queueing right across the BC reception area! OMG was it busy!
Whilst queueing to check-in we were talking to an American guy who had arrived at BC that day and somewhere between reception and his room - they had lost his cases!!!! Concierge had given him $150 to buy swimming things for his children and a few things, but they had nothing else - this was several hours later!
We finally reached the podium and were told a minimum half hour wait - even for an ADR. We were able to see into the restaurant and it looked like a poorly organised bunfight. On the spot thinking, we cancelled our ADR and went back to the room for Room Service!
Menu and fineprint studied, we ordered, it was delivered in 25 minutes, was piping hot and very yummy. We had buffalo chicken wings - $10.99:

a bowl of chilli - $5.99:

and a pizza with "the works" - cheese, onion, green peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, pineapple, ham, sausage and pepperoni - $19.99:

This was all very good and with a delivery charge of $3 plus 18% gratuity added, we reckoned came in at just under $50. We were both full and could not finish the pizza - I had always wanted to try an in-room pizza having seen the boxes outside rooms on each trip - glad we did. The boxes are great:

We were asked to ring them when we were finished but I'm not sure why - yes you guessed it, box and tray still outside room where we left it as we went out the next morning!
Fed and watered we settled on balcony for Illuminations but it was a poor display for us tonight, wind was blowing the smoke across Crescent Lake and many of the fireworks could not be seen it was so thick - oh well, it's not as if we haven't seen it lol
Bed for 10.15pm - lightweights I know!
