If you enjoy it as much as we did last year you will have a great day, we all enjoyed it and the dolphin swim was awesome, but very cold. Look out for the plush dolphins on sale at the shop that make a dolphin sound when squeezed, they are adorable, and we couldn't resist them.

Cpl of Q's regarding DC (if its OK jumpin in on ur thread) I have read that you get to keep the snorkel, but what about the goggles/face mask ???? anyone know ? and also I read that you are free to take pics and video while in the park, but during the dolphin swim photos and /or video were taken by the staff at DC.

cheers
JP

(13 days to go and counting ..............)

JP, you get to keep the snorkle but do have to hand back in the face mask. Taking pictures and video in the park is no problem, and the staff do video and photograph you whilst in the water. These official photo's are lovely but rather expensive you can buy indiviuals or a package. we spent around £80 in merchandising for video and photo's. If your group split up you are free to video and photograph each other to save on this expense, for us though it was more important for the 4 of us to experience the dolphin swim together. Hope this helps. We had a wonderful day there and don't forget to take a waterproof disposable camera you'll get some great photos :jump: I WANT TO GO BACK. It's definately worth the money ;)

You will love DC.

As an alternative to disposable water-proof cameras, you can get a good reusable water-proof camera for under £18; I used one last year in DC and the water parks and got some great photos. See Underwater Camera (http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=777_1_102&products_id=7916) if you are interested - they are good for cheap film as well.

I have a great underwater photo that is seriously closeup to a stingray. He swam over me and the camera as I was taking a picture.

Well with 7 weeks to go I showed my dad our plan and he decides he would like to come and watch us swim with the dolphins. I booked James and my tickets on line, could I do the same with his or should I ring them and just see if I could add him to our booking?
Thanks:D

Clare, I think there is an option for changing your booking on the Discovery Cove website? But don't quote me on that! ;)

Mazzy I have just rung them and they have added Dad to our reservation. They are so polite :D Some of our large companies could learn a thing or to.
