Dawn and I had not decided where to eat that evening but decided we would like to try other steaks on the menu at the Yachtsman so phoned to get priority seating.
The only time available at the earliest hour was at 8.30pm so we booked this time.
We arrived in good time and were seated at our PS time at 8.30pm. Our server for the evening was Candace from Colorado.
Dawn decided on Coke with the meal and I had a glass of Cabernet.
The restaurant was very, very noisy and I could not see what would be romantic about this location in the least, where to communicate with each other you had to practically shout.
The noise kind of reminded me of a school canteen with lots of loud talking and lots of cutlery against plate sounds.
We both decided on the New York Strip cooked medium but I included a tail of lobster and we requested sides of broccoli with béarnaise sauce and a side of mushrooms.

The meal was excellent and the steaks cooked to perfection and were in amongst the best we had ever eaten.
The bill came to a total of $100.32+ tip and gave us a DDE saving of $23.55.
