St Pete

We are hoping to go on a day trip to St Pete. Now DH isn't a beach type and hates getting sand between his toes! Can anybody recommend something we can do to keep him happy while the rest of our party is on the beach?

There is a pier at St Petes that has a few things to look at. Not been on it myself, but have seen pics and write ups.
Do a search for St Petes Beach, sure there will be something to interest your DH.
Must admit, Im not a beach person either. I cant sunbathe as I get bored after the first 30 seconds,lol.

What about sending him off on a shark-spotting boat, or the Seascremer ride?

We really love St. Pete`s and always visit there for the day when we`re in Orlando. We spend a few hours at the beach and then drive down to the pier. DH and our sons fish while I have a look around the pier shops, aquarium etc. About a 2 minute drive (if that!!) up the road from the pier is a small shopping complex called The Bay where they have a really nice Johnny Rockets.
