Minnie's Sal

We chose to eat here on the evening that we were going to La Nouba. It wasn't an ideal start as we ended up delayed by buses and running to the restaurant 10 minutes late.
Once inside and seated it was a wonderful experience however. The location is fantastic with a beautiful view across the water, the service was superb - professional and attentive and the food was excellent.
We were brought a basket of bread with olive oil to dip it in which served as our starter (we're getting wise to the US portions by week 2).
For main course Karen had a chicken dish which she raved over and devoured enthusiastically.
I was basically told I could have whatever I wanted so I had a vegetable plate - asparagus, carrots, broccoli, mushrooms, spinach, garlic mash and champagne potatoes - it was divine. So fresh and tasty.
We shared a dessert - apple strudel and ice cream. Again this was fabulous -beautifully presented and very tasty.
It was the most expensive meal we had - total including tip was around $80 but it was a really good experience and a lovely place to eat before La Nouba. Would definitely recommend it and we would certainly go back.
