help beaches clearwater etc

we are wanting to go to clearwater area , we want to see dolphins <cruise type> nice beach and shopping , things to do at night , decent hotel , etc ,help where do i book to be central to all ?

Personally from your requirements I would chose the Ramada Gulf View, it has recently been fully refurbished and just re-opened due to hurricane damage.

It is across the road from a Pirate golf, Italian restaurant (our fav), Walgreens, Beach shop, Internet cafe etc, and just behind these there is an english bar that sells bitter a must for my dh!!

Next door is sheppards who has the best seafood buffet and singing/dancing, they also have a night club but don't be put of by this as you wouldn't even know it was there if I didn't tell you!! (its underground!)

It is short walk to the harbour, when you can get the pirate boat cruise, sea screamer (biggest speedboat sure to see dolphins), and various other boaty things!! Across from the harbour there is Pier 60 where they have market stalls and street entertainers in the evening.

I personally wouldn't stay in the Hilton as I have heard rumours about it, but it is personal choice at the end of the day. If you don't mind driving to the things mentioned above then I would definately chose the Sherton Sand Key which is just over the bridge.

We stayed at the Seastone, which is more like an apartment than just a hotel room.

Could not fault it.
