Birthday lunch at DLP?

Hi,
Has anyone done the Birthday lunch?


I have helped my sister-in-law book a trip to DLP for this September.She hates booking holidays and I love it so a good combination It is my niece's 9th Birthday while they are there and as a surprise I booked the Birthday lunch as a present from me.

Has anyone done the lunch? I wasn't sure if it was a character lunch and what kind of a fuss do they make of the Birthday child?

we booked a birthday cake, we saw others get their cakes at character meals, and they brought the cake out, sang a birthday song, and loads of characters came over and made a fuss.
We had ours at the Cheyenne restaurant, so no characters but all the staff came out and sang and banged some pots and pans and generally made a fuss and katie was beaming and thought it was brilliant.

This is a different thing though,I don't know if it's new?

It is £12 per person and I've boked the actual time in advance (12pm),it's held in the main theme park.
