I hope some of you can help!

We are going to the Pop Century Resort in a fortnight.

Can anyone tell me where the best place to stay is?

I've been told that the 50's and 60's are the best areas but am after some expert DIBB advice!

We stayed in January, the 50's & 60's buildings are right next to the main complex i.e checkin, disney shop, food court and disney buses, these buildings also have nice pools one in the shape of a ten pin which if you feel energetic enough is great for a few laps and nice and warm, the petals pool bar is also there again v nice for a afternoon drinkie. We actually stayed in the 80's building and only found it a 2 minute walk to the food court, and we would walk via the lake so my 4yr old could feed the turtles, or if he was desparate we would go via the the front of the complex where the buses are according to him it was quicker to get to the disney shop!! The overall complex is not huge and as said before the furthest away buildings are the 80's & 90's but we had no problems getting around the resort and didnt feel we had to walk any excessive distance. Your in for a real treat I loved the Pop Century its bright and and the kids loved the huge disney figures around the resort and you always knew you were in disney so for us the magic never ended. The food court is fantastic. And our 4yr old had to have his daily trip around the disney shop @ 8am to see if disney had magically put any new toys on the shelves that he didnt already own. All the buildings are much of the same just a different era if you want to be close to the main complex go for the 50's & 60's but the resort isnt huge. Hope this helps.

Hiya,
we stopped in 80's section top floor (4th) andhad pool view, even though this was 1 of furthest from reception and food hall was still only 10 mins walk, great theming, you will have a great time there, would have booked to go back there next year but all star sports was £600 cheaper with virgin for some reason so we goin there, i know you will have a great time

we stayed in 90's dont have a cow in the rubiks cube section we were overlooking the car park and got to see epcot fireworks every evening from the balcony :spin: I ddi hear some people complaining that the pool was noisy until late evening which might be an issue if you have young children who are trying to sleep, only a 2 min walk to bus and food court, I guess from what everyone says whereever you stay has + and - points but are all fab anyway. :thumbs-up

We got back last week, we were in the 80''s, no problem with pools noise. Did not find the walk to buses or food hall to far.

Have a great time

We stayed in 70's, which was about 2 mins walk to teh Goofy splash zone and about 4 to the main pool and the Food Court. :)

60's is preferred so you will have to pay extra for that. 50's is nice too but has it's own pool and we thought it was noisy at night when we went for a walk.

Great to hear all the postive comments! We are going in Sept this year and although i was already very excited...im now even more so! (If that could even be possible!?) I was a little worried about which era we would be staying because though you're allowed preferences, we werent allowed to choose exactly where we were going to be. So to hear that all are equally as good with different + and - is very reassuring!

Thank you to all :D
