Hi Susie

You do have a very busy schedule - especially with a 2year old!

Kennedy will be a full day not half a day, and Epcot is huge too so you wont get round half of it in a morning. Its split into 2 halves - the world part with the countries in and then the future part with the rides etc. It takes us a day each part.

If its your first visit I would be tempted to leave Busch and the Wildlife Park out. You wont get MGM done in half a day either. I hate to criticise your plan but it looks a bit ambitious. Mgm has lots of shows - you spend a long time waiting to get in to the shows and for them to start, so you dont really get much done in that park very quickly.

I would suggest a water park - Blizzard or Typhoon too. We use them as rest days and the kids get to run around and burn off some steam.

Sorry to be a bit negative, but I would hate for you to try and do too much and then miss out on other things.

I find it easier some days to just do one park rather than hopping from park to park. You spend more time on the ferry etc than in the park otherwise. It depends on your children and their staying power of course, but from personal experience my ds (6) is shattered by 6pm if we've been in the park all day.

pm me if you need any more help.:wavey:

Thanks for the info, did think it was a bit busy but wanted to get some thoughts on it, kids have sponsered a manatee from the wildlife park so that is why we are going there, will have to rethink the parks then.

Never been before so its hard to judge how long it will take to do the parks.

Do you really want to go to Universal and Kennedy?

We dont go to Universal with our 6 year old cos its mostly big coasters. There is an area for kids but its not very big and they dont have a fast pass system like Disney so the queues are often worse.

Kennedy is another one you could skip. Not much there to amuse your 2 year old, and its an hour and a half drive each way.

It really depends on whether you want to just get an overview of all the parks or get to do most of the rides and shows etc.

We allow 2 days for Epcot -1 day for each half and do illumniations on one of them

MGM - 1 Day - smaller park but more shows to watch, then Fantasmic.

Animal Kingdom - 1 day - you need to be there early or the animals just go into the shade and you hardly see any of them:confused2. If you have an early start you may want to switch the MNSSHP day as you'll be up late too.

Magic Kingdom - I could spent 14 days here! - its big and theres loads to do. We usually spend 3 days here with wishes, Spectro

Water parks - 1 day each til about 2 or 3pm then we shop afterwards - head to an outlet mall

Seaworld - lovely park - 1 or 2 days - not as hectic or rushed compared to the other parks.

DTD - 1/2 a day - nice to wander round the shops, theres the lego store and toy shop for the kids to play in and a little train ride for the little 2 yr old.

Universal - 2 parks - 1 day in each.

Hope this helps:erm:

My 3 year old loved Universal As it had the Barney Show. Also had things like Curious George play area, and Fivels (rescurers)playground. Both of which you would need a towel for.IOA is good if your child likes Dr Zuess.

Would be governed by how your little feller is doing. If his flagging cut out early.
Would do dtd in the evening it is mainly shops and eating places so you can stick him in the buggy and just have a wander.

I wouldnt bother with Kennedy either part of it is being on the tourist Bus going out to the launch area and it taks a good couple of hours to do just that. Let alone the shows which he probably wont sit through.

It is nice to park hop some times but with a buggy it can be quite tiring especially if youhave to use the disney buses that stop in a 100 places before the place you want. I would maybe park hop mgm and epcot as you can do that by Boat via The Board walk and that is quite nice. Maybe stopping at boardwalk for lunch or something.

Would base your days around your ADRS and work with your days around them so your boy isnt so knackered everynight.

also the only park I would really want to go to for the rope drop is Animal Kingdom as people say the animals are obviously more awake in the morning.

We took dd1 to a waterpark when she was 18 months old and she didnt really enjoy it and she loves swimming, she has had lessons since she was a small baby. So we gave it a miss when we went back when she was 3. The Villa pool was good enough at that age.

Hope this helps.

Have the brits guide and a couple of other books, so much to do! i am going to need help here i think!:d:

Not really into the waterparks so thats why we are giving that a miss, i cant swim and neither can the kids, elder 2 are currently learning.

Must rethink, so difficult!

A very busy schedule, im sure you will enjoy yourselves whatever you do though, Tips I would suggest are that Busch gardens is a whole day, 90mins each way travelling alone, similarly the space centre is a long slog with kids, another whole day. As for the parks we always get up early and get there for just after opening, get in the best rides first before the park gets too busy, we usually leave about 1-2pm and return to the villa to relax, the option is always open to return to the parks later that day.
As for the universal parks my DS (5) loves them, there are lot's of things for him to do, im sure your kids would be no different.
And finally what you don't get to this time then it's even more of an excuse to return in the future.

P.S
we r going to MNSSHP on 11th Oct too:wavey::wavey:
