Fire or Ice

On Dueling Drangons which do you go on, Fire or Ice ?

Do you think there is any difference between the two ????

Did both last year and I think for me Ice was the better one.

I think they are both good fun, especially if you are at the front of the ride. You really do get close.

I like them both but Ice definitly has the edge for me :spin: .. they are two totally different rides ..

Dueling Dragons is the world's first and only dueling Inverted rollercoaster(s).
The ride features huge drops, and three near-miss moments where the riders' feet come within 12" of each other!
Both 'Dragons' are different, featuring a unique layout with 5 inversions apiece.
Complex computer systems are in place to make sure that each duel is perfectly timed, as high-tech train weighting systems gauge how heavy each train is and then slow down or speed up the lift hills accordingly.
Not only does this ride provide high-octane thrills, it's also amazingly beautiful to stand back and just watch. (taken from coasterforce website)

a little fun fact
The Longest Ever Line For This Ride According To A Member Of Staff Was During Halloween Horror Nights When The Entire Queue Was One Hour And Forty Five Minutes, And That's With The Extended Queue Open (Next To The Top Of The Re-entry Stairs) And Thats One Hell Of A Queue And Wait.

i like fire more, it seems to pull more g forces around the turns. both are great rides :)

Ice Ice Ice - don't care what the facts are re. twists and loops etc - Ice just seems to me to be the more exhilerating one - no measurement just the thrill factor!!!!

I read somewhere, can't remember where, that the back of Ice is the more extreme ride, I'll agree with that (moves and clicks neck as part of rehab ;))

Well before we went I read that Fire was the more extreme ride, so we thought we'd try Ice first, just to check it out. Well I ended up in the back row of Ice, and got well chucked about, so if back of Ice is the most extreme that could well explain it!

I prefer Fire, seems a bit smoother. I like smooth, I'm getting on a bit.

I prefer ICE, it seemed the more intense of the two, FIRE is a smoother ride though.

I prefer fire, more drops and you come off your seat more. Ice is a lot faster, feels as if your just on and its done.

I agree. Fire has some amazing drops. Depends what you like in a coaster I suppose. I like the sensation of flying - smooth with air time, other people like speed and G force.
