Princess & Pirate Party question

Can I ask? Does the pirate party happen during the year? where is it held etc?

Hi....went to the first PPP opening in January, it is held in MK and starts at 19.30. You are given a wrist band and small black bag to put your "booty" in which a necklace bead(plastic) or what looked like Quality Street chocolates at about a dozen selected treasure island points and apart from people dressing up i personaly was very disapointed, however the firework display was very good and helped to change my view.
I heard they have changed things as the staff at the gate were getting a lot of negative feedback from guests leaving....

we went in January and we are going in August ! We loved it :grin:

we both dressed up very well - Chris as Jack Sparrow. I did his make up with the 4 eyes and he looked fabulous. Loads of people came up to him and asked for a photo and autograph - they thought he was a real character !! it really was surreal - one lady rushed up to him when we walked by and asked " excuse me are you still in character or has your shift finished.." she thought he was a real cast member.He posed for a photo and signed her book!

It was brilliant. We are dressing up again this time. I am just in the process of making my Sleeping Beauty dress :ccat It will be better in August as it was a little cold in January ( to say the least )

Denise, were there a lot of people dressed us? As we(2 adults, 3children) but my DSiL thinks i am slightly mental. so far DH pirate, DD16 pirate, DD10 tinkerbell, just DD13 to go and me. I was thinking sleeping beauty as i like pink, but what kind of outfit is best? long or short(not too short) am so confused as dont want to look an idiot. help help help
