We're staying at the SantaFe in two weeks time which is BNB based,
Can anyone tell me what the breakfasts are like? We have a fussy two year old and I'm wondering if I need to take stuff with me.
Somebody mentioned taking sandwich bags and making stuff to take into the parks to eat later on as well. Can you really do that?

I haven't stayed at the Santa Fe so don't know myself but if you go to www.dlpfoodguide.com you'll find reviews and menus for all the restaurants in the resorts, village and parks. Just had a look and it says that breakfast is a 'French continental buffet'.
You can take food into the parks although if you arrive with a big cooler they won't be impressed. We had the same problem as you with a fussy eater. I did take some stuff with me from home and I also used to take a few little plastic pots with lids into the breakfast buffet and smuggled things out in my pots and in napkins! I filled DD's cup with milk from breakfast as well! You need to take a decent-sized bag to breakfast with you though!
The people at bag search on the way into the parks honestly do not care if you're just taking a small coolbag in. They do care if you try to take alcohol in though: one man had his confiscated last time we were there and he wasn't very happy!!!
Also, just outside the entrance to the Santa Fe there is a garage which sells allsorts and at much lower prices than in the parks so that should help; and I've heard that there's a shop inside the train station by the park entrances which sells food and drinks: not sure what though.
With all this, we really did not find eating much of a problem: you'll be fine.
Hope this helps!

Hi the breakfast is continental: - sliced ham & salami, cubes of cheese, small bread rolls (yummy!), croissants, pain au chocolat, 3 or 4 cereals, pieces of fresh fruit, tinned fruit and plain yogurt. There are also machines for the drinks, tea/coffee/hot chocolat/orange juice and milk.

If you take the option of having breakfast in the Disney park the breakfast is the same.

Have a lovely time.

The breakfasts are actually really good, plenty to fill up on, and you can make a couple of sandwiches with the riolls and ham and cheese to take to the parks, we also sneaked out a couple of yoghurts and pieces of fruit. I saw quite a lot of people doing it. Not sure about the santa fe, but at the newport bay we had the option to pay an extra 6 euros to get a hot breakfast, but to be honest the continental breakfast was fine.

Another thing a lot of peopl don't know that if your little one wants a cup of milk before bed, the hotel bar will give you it free if you take the bottle or beaker down to the bar, if you just buy a glass it will cost you a fortune
