I am thinking of booking this for september but not sure what time to book it for, do you watch the show from the table or do you eat first then go into watch show?

I think you go eat first and then there are some rows of seats reserved for those on the dining package. I seem to remember someone saying on a previous thread that you need to tell the restaurant when you are booking and again when you arrive and are seated that you are doing the fantasmic package

We r doing this package at Hollywood and Vine this year, when I booked the ADR the girl said the latest time we could book was 5.30pm , i think the show starts about 8pm, and yes she said there was reserved seating when doing this package, looking forward to it.

Hi

We did the Fantasmic Dinner package last year-you have to book it direct with Disney-we went to the Hollywood & Vine (buffet) I think it was about $20 each.
When you pay for your meal the waitress will give you a pass for you to gain entrance to the priority seating for the show
Well worth the money and the show is fantastic!!!:wavey:

You eat earlier in the restaurant of your choice then you are directed to make your way to an alternative 'secret' entrance to the Fantasmic theater where you will find the reserved seating area.

The seating times for the Fantasmic package tend to be quite early, 4 to 5pm, but later ones do open up nearer the time if you want to change.

As said you get a pass which lets you go through the special entrance at the specified time.

You can eat, then do other things before going to Fantasmic, you don't have to book thinking you are going to go straight into the show. That bit confused me :confused2

Its a great service, because you only pay for your meals, there is no extra charge for Fantasmic reserved seating. Also, you dont have to join the scrum to access your seating after your meal.

What about when there is a second showing of Fantasmic later in the evening? Can you do this for that show too?

We booked H and V for 7 o clock for the 9 o clock show. Don't leave it too late walking over to the show as the reserved section is opened to the public just before the show starts.

We booked H&V last July for 7pm ,plenty of time to eat then headed over to the back entrance with the pass about 8.15

It is a good service, but don't get too complacent about the reserved seating. There is only a tape seperating this section from the rest and when we went people were quick to slide under the tape to get into the quieter section and much to my annoyance no-one seemed to be doing anything about it.

Even with a Fantasmic Package ticket, I'd still be tempted to arrive early.
