View Full Version : Drinks at Pop Century
This may be a bit of a daft question, but do Pop Century have hot drinks on their self serve drinks island? The reason I ask is that when we stayed at Coronado last year I had to buy my hot choclate and that seriously eat into my food budget.:mad2::mad2:

Yes, we got hot choc/tea/coffee at Pop. But whoa there - hot choc *isn't* on the drinks island at Coronado??? We were considering Coronado for next time, but this bears serious consideration - I only drink hot choc at Disney, so it's one of my big treats out there.

True, when there last year for honeymoon, stayed there as well as ASM and Caribbean. Had to pay $2.50 for a hot chocolate, which i thought was a bit cheeky considering its free at all the other hotels. The most annoying thing was that when I was feeling a bit rough one day my DH when and got me a smoothie, and we ahd to pay a service charge for it!!!! I think with Coronado, now that it has the convention centre they are more geared towards that than people staying there.

We were going to stay at Caribbean or Coronado the next time we go, but it looks like we will be staying at Pop Century. It won't be the same if we cannot have a hot chocolate in the morning or evening.

You buy a cup each for $11.99 and this entitles you to free drinks throughout your entire stay from the drinks island at your hotel resort.
1st photo is the cold drinks Island

2nd photo shows the cup and hot chocolate

Worth if you are going to get lots of drinks at the hotel, works out at 50p per day for a 14 week holiday.

I hope they have hot choc at the POR i will be gutted if not, anyone know?
Hi
We are going to "POP" in September and the drinks mugs will probably :erm:.....no definitely :d: be our first purchase. In our case 18 nights (19 days use) for each of our mugs works out at only about 33p :d: per day per mug for unlimited :drinkbeerfillups :drinkbeer (unfortunately beer is not included) :( But you do get to keep the "souvenir" mug! :)
You get most drinks except cappuchino, but including hot chocolate and a "slush" type cold drink in the "All Stars" resorts and "Pop" but I can't say what drinks are provided at the other resorts.
Excuse me a moment......:drinkbeer...... Regards, AJAXON :wavey:
