I did fancy another Florida outing but this is a cheapo and relaxing option.

Sounds great! I'd be interested to hear details as I'm thinking of a trip to Canada next year however it's dependant on funds as I've got a Disney one in the pipeline. Love the idea of a log cabin.

I grew up there and we used to go to a cabin in Northern Ontario every summer, I know it is reminising but it just seems the right thing, the Cabin in in the middle of nowhere by a lake called white lake, plenty of fishing as a boat comes with the cabin also a canoe, and the lake is brill for swimming, we will probably be the only ones within a few miles.
My wife said "what about the country nutter with one eye, no teeth and the axe" and I replied it's the bears we should be worried about.
It is bear country but I am sure it will be fine.
Sitting round a campfire having a few beers, having a good chat and playing guitar, god it sounds peacefull.

But the mosquitos round there have stealth technology and many sorties behind them !
