View Full Version : Dubai in August?
I was just wondering if anyone had been to Dubai in August and if so what was the weather like. I know it will be very hot but is it unbearable?
Hi
I went 2 years ago in August and it 42 degrees , the sea was 37 degrees, if you are going shopping though ,the malls are all air con, but round the soukkes I would go in the evening time, it was still hot then but more bearable, I must so though it did not bother me that much the heat as we tended to dip in and out of the pool every time we needed to cool down, Dubai ia a lovely place and would recommend it to any one.
hope you enjoy it

weve been to dubai for the last 6 years usually in july/august it is absolutely boiling.usually about 115 degreees.we normally stay by the pool in the mornings have lunch then venture out about 4 just as the shops are opening again. The malls are open all day,and are lovely and cool.If you want a good hotel to stay in the city i can recommend the al bustan rotana, they also do a shuttle to the beach.Dont forget to take a ride on the abra across dubai creek,it only costs a couple of pence, but it is an experience.Taxis are also really cheap.Have fun and dont forget the magicool :spin: :spin:

I was there last year in Aug - found it hot but bearable by day but struggled a bit at night. Found it difficult to be outside for long in the evening, just desparate to get back inside to the air con! Inside is fine at all times, everywhere has air con.

Been 5 times in total, twice in August and found it warm but as it was a dry heat it was ok...pool is a definite. Interestingly enough we just returned a few weeks ago from dubai and found it much warmer than we had ever experienced in august and apparently the humidity was up at 95% which is more than they are used to at this time of year.
Brilliant place, definitely recommend it.
