Sizzlers on I-Drive did an all you can eat buffet breakfast for $3.99 and the afternoon buffet was really cheap too !! Not sure if they do any in the parks though.

they are great value plus its great for kids as they can have whatever they want and if they dont lke it they can leave it and get something else saves the nightmare of ordering food for them only for them having one mouthful then saying i dont like it. im not sure if there are any in the parks but there are loads offsite or favorite is golden coral.

The 2 most popular buffets are the Pondrosa and the Golden Corral, these
are open for Breakfast Lunch and Dinner ,the approx cost for dinner including
a drink is $12,Disney also offers buffets but these are much more expensive.

Buffets are great! Can eat exactly what and how much you want! As OP said, Golden Corral, Ponderose and Sweet toms are great and there are a few buffets in the parks too. They include...
Hollywood & Vine - MGM
Crystal Palace - MK
Liberty Tree Tavern - MK
Garden Grill - Epcot (i think!?)
I can't think of anymore myself but if ive left any out please correct me!
Thanks

You want to try Cici's Pizza parlour in Lake Buenas Vista, We paid $2.99 for as much pizza or pasta as you can eat, great, you do pay seperately for fizzy drinks but they are refillable.
We eat at the buffet resturants quite often, both DD's are very fussy eaters, but they tend to eat a good meal at the buffet's because thay choose what they want and how much!! Plus they love the coloured Jelly and the icecream machine! My youngest DD loved the idea that they serve pizza for breakfast!! We find them very good value for money! :thumbs-up

Buffets are a false economy. People think they are good value but often aren't unless you eat lots of food. Buffet costs around $12 for food that isn't all that great quality. Or you can go to Chili's, TGI or I-HOP and have a main meal for around $8 which is large enough portion to fill most people up and is of much better quality.
The only reason people think buffet is good value is they see all the adverts for them, they think being to eat till you bust is a good thing and they associate TGI's etc with high prices.

We've tried all the usual ones, Ponderosa, Golden Corral, etc. but we found one on our recent visit that we hadn't tried before - the Sizzlin Grill somewhere on the 192. They do a steak and seafood buffet which we thought was really good value - loads of variety and plenty of dessert options for the DS & DD.
Ponderosa breakfast is a bargain as we do tend to get our $3.99 worth however did not feel we got that much of a bargain for dinner. Agree with above posts about being good for kids - I also have a fussy eater and she can just about scape together a meal with all that chice!!

If you have picky eaters then the buffets are pretty good and excellent value. Outside the parks quality can be compromised but the establishments above are all ok imo - our favourite is Sweet Tomatoes where quality is certainly not an issue.
In the parks H&V and CP in particular are both worth a visit for their buffets but I don't believe LTT or Garden Grill do buffets. They are table service but replenish empty dishes as required and are both excellent.
Whatever you are looking for, you will be able to feed even the pickiest eaters at a reasonable cost somewhere with a little research. Enjoy.
