Now I've pretty much sorted out our Disney dining, I'm turning my attention to Universal. I know we'll want to eat at the Hard Rock and Bubba Gump's, as well as taking in the buffet breakfast at Island's.
For some reason I've got it into my head that Margaritaville is really a place to get drunk and so the food isn't so great, but I'm sure that's not true! Me and the other half will be looking to sink a few 'Ritas, is the food worth hanging around for? Does the 'Cheeseburger In Paradise' live up to its name?

We thought the food was lovely, great atmosphere too, just what you need after a day in the parks. We'll be back very soon!

Fantastic shop as well ;)
We would go here rather than HRC any time.
Didn't eat there. In fact didn't go into the main part of it other than to use the convenience. But the 'beach bar' set up they have by the lake, looking over to the NBA diner etc is a wonderful, wonderful place to sit, drink and watch the world go by.
It's 5'o clock somewhere!:pgig: Sorry I just could'nt resist that one. Not been to either at Universal but we went to Bubba Gumps in San Francisco yuk! It was not a nice experience and we WAS going to try Bubba's at Universal but it's so put me off.

I had a very nice meal at Bubba's in San Francisco (the waiter even asked me out on a date!) so definitely planning to go there. :D

Margaritaville is always on our list of 'to do' as we love it there - kids included. OK, the food is not out of this world, but there isn't anything wrong with it either. The atmosphere though is fantastic.
