Best ice cream ever !!! Maggie Moo's - Pointe Orlando

Have to share with you - the best ice cream ever is available at Maggie Moo's in Pointe Orlando. As part of the renovation, round the back, next to Starbucks is a fabulous ice cream parlour.

Maggie Moo's Ice Cream - run by a great husband & wife team - so friendly & helpful, but sadly, tucked around the back, so often missed by people who forget to explore.

With so many different types of ice cream - mostly homemade - they can create the most incredible desserts - my favourite had divine dark chocolate, peanut butter sauce and Reeces Peanut Butter Cups.

When they mix your choice, or you can have it plain, it's done on an ice-block and it's fun to watch. I just can't imagine anyone doing anything similar in the UK - we just get a small tub of something & wouldn't dream of mixing it up or adding tonnes of goodies.

Really can't recommend this place enough - I've just been looking at their menu and am feeling so hungry !!!

Don't be nervous when you go in - the choice seems never-ending, but they will help you by giving you samples to taste.

Can't wait to go back !!

Pointe Orlando is a shopping/eating complex on International Drive - near to the Convention Center. Very easy to find.

OhMyGod, Maggie Moo's is DELISH!!!
We visited in May, and were in there for possibly half hour just talking to them. The people who run it are soo Friendly.
There are Sooo many choices to choose from, and they all look so Nice.
I had Vanilla & Strawberry IceCream mixed with fresh rasberries and strawberries. They come in quite large tubs, and even the small tub is over-flowing.
You Just HAVE to try one.. :tounge: :tounge: :tounge:

My mum calls me Maggie Moo, I just phoned her to let her know about this place and she answered the phone 'Hello Maggie Moo!' both fell about laughing!! Will def be finding this when we go.

We are staying at the Quality Inn Plaza, and if i'm correct, our hotel is almost opposit pointe orlando. Looks like i'll be giving this ice cream parlour a go :)
