We usually have one holiday a year to an all inclusive hotel somewhere longhaul but would like to try one with a shorter flying time. Somewhere like, Greek islands, cyprus, gran canaria etc. One where when its says is all inclusive thats what it means (have stayed in a couple in Spain where there were loads of additional things we had to pay for) and where it would suit a family of two adults and two teenagers.
Thanks

We go to Kos every year and stop in a 4 or 5 star all inclusive (dont go lower star, food will be awfull) in Kardemina, we have been 5 times now, it's agreat place with all inclusive hotels just outside the town, but walking distance to the town. Last year we stayed at MITSIS(think that's how you spell it) summer palace and it was great, with 5 pools, good food and nice staff. The all inclusive included all food, snacks, drinks (good choice of alcohol), pizza restaurant for lunches plus a full buffet. There are lots of other great hotel all around Kardemina.

I can recommend one in cyprus, The Louis Phaethon Beach club in Paphos. Weve been to a few all inclusives and this was by far the best. Its right on a small beach with water sports included( peddaloes, canoes). Jet skis and paragliding are extra though, The food was great and they have plenty of activities going on. I think they had a football club aswell.
We had 4 teenagers with us and they loved it,
We booked via portland/thomsons.

We went to the Iberostar Creta Marine hotel in Crete - it was wonderful. It was our 1st experience of All Inclusive - plenty of food & drink, and lots of activities (watersports were extra though).
It was a bit out of the way, and you needed a car to get out and about, but that is one of the reasons why we chose this hotel!

I will give a vote for First Choices holiday villages, been to Majorca and Turkey and they have both been fab. FC do a brochure just for holiday villages. We are going to the Egypt one or Mexico in 2009.
Both of the villages I went to had no extras to pay for it was all included.

If you are considering a Greek Island, I would steer clear of All Inclusives in Corfu - there are one or two that are ok but some are an awful rip off and have a terrible reputation. Check very carefully for reviews before booking.
