Is There A Darryls on I Drive Still?

Last time i went about 5 years ago i remember a very good value restaraunt on I Drive called Darryls.

Is it still there?

We had a really good meal there three years ago and were looking forward to returning last year but low and behold it had gone! Was very disappointed!

Yes they have closed down, we were there in Oct 04 and then by Oct 05 they'd gone (the one on the 192 has also gone).

We tried the new restaurant in I-Drive (Amigo's) but diodn't think it was that good so haven't been back.

As previously stated it has now gone which is a real shame, we used to love this area with Darryl's and Race Rock and now they have both gone...boo hoo. Mind you it does give you the boot up the bum to try new restaurants:pgig:

I loved it there. Great food and one night I ordered a cocktail called a Shark something and it came with a great big plastic shark in the glass. :d:

We also loved Darryls and were extremely disappointed when we arrived in May 05 to discover it was in the middle of being refurbished and turned into Amigos :(

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh how i miss Darryls. we went to the one that was by Wild Bills. Food ,cocktails and service was fantastic.

I remember the waiter describing the rack of ribs ' Melts in your mouth like M&Ms'. :tounge: :tounge: :tounge: :tounge: DH always raves about it and says this is where he had the best ribs. Seems all the good places close what a pity.

Hi,

I remember this, my DW had one a few years ago.

We had several meals in the one on I-Drive, dating back to Feb 91 our first visit.

We were never disappointed in any way.

What a great shame it has gone. :(
