Which Disney resort has the best pool for kids?

Yacht and Beach Club pool looks fab, like a mini water park!

I only saw ASMovies (stayed there) and WL. Of the two i preferd the ASM - the Fantasia pool was just superb. It had two lifeguards who were very very hands on so you could relax a little with the kids.

We had trouble getting them out and into the parks!!

I don't think kids mind which pool they are in and will find something good about each of them. We've stayed at 5 Disney resorts and DS and DD loved all of the pools and played happily in each of them.

Storm along bay is deep and it's hard to watch your children all the time, it depends on the age of the child and their water confidence.
For little kids the water jets are the safest and just as much fun as a pool.

As previously said Stormalong Bay at Yacht and Beach Club is a big area with lots of variety.

As a shared pool we found it very busy and due to its size wouldnt relax with not being able to see the kids at all times . Also some parts were VERY deep.

We were most disappointed with the size of the Polynesian Pool once again very busy due to its small size and when we visited the life guard on duty didnt seem to bother what people got up to.

As Tink said kids will have fun wherever they go :spin:

That's unusual as the life guards have always been really on the ball at the Disney resorts we've stayed in. We'll be trying the Poly pool out this summer but if it's that busy we might stick with the quiet pool.

We were surprised as everywhere else were spot on. :thumbs-up

Maybe the lifeguards were just having a bad day or the end of their shift but there was a group of teenage boys hurling a ball about in the pool ,which isnt that big anyway, at top speed with no consideration for small kids at all

I am certainly not a spoil sport for people having fun after all they are on hols but the blatant disrespect for others and their safety and enjoyment amazed us ,and the fact that the lifeguard ignored it amazed us even more :nonono:
