I see from your other post that you know it's near Championsgate with great access to the I4. It's quite new and some of the villas are huge and stunning with great floorplans. Don't know much more but somebody on here owns a villa there so could hopefully tell you more...... :wavey:

we stayed in a lovely villa there 2 years ago. If you come out of the Winwood Bay resort and turn left and then take the first left after the gas station that road(Old Lake Wilson Road) will take you straight up to 192. You can also get to Champions gate this way - I think you turn left at the first major intersection. There is a entrance onto I4 here as well. We absolutely loved staying here and would definitely stay there again. You'll have a wonderful holiday or as they say in Belfast - sticking out!

I have to agree with Julie, this is a fantastic new development, we stayed there last year. She is spot on with the Old Lake Wilson Road comment, this will take you straight to the 192, turn left across it, and then first right onto Sherbeth Road, and you'll be in Animal Kingdom from door to door in about 15 mins.
It was a beautiful villa we had too. Have a great holiday.

Just a post to thank this board for the info - and to add something back...
We're just back from a Villa in Winwood Bay. Two families stayed in a 5 bedroom villa. superb accommodation and great location - handy to the I4 and the 192 as has been said above.
The retail development at Champions Gate (3 mins away from Winwood Bay) has a good big Publix supermarket open to midnight, a big WalGreens pharmacy, a 24hr McDonalds, and a Chinese. There's also a "Chilis" restaurant (our favorite) right beside it. Our two families (9 of us) ate in here for $80 (£40) including tip!
We did 9 days out of our 14 in theme parks. The other days were spent in Florida Mall (22 million sq ft!) Mall at Millenia, Premium Outlets and the odd hour in the pool too :)
Now we're home we need a holiday to recover! :) You have to pack it in though, it goes so quick. Good luck to anyone heading there - I'm sure you'll love it as much as we have.

Going there on Friday - really looking forward to it. I said after we returned next year I thought the championsgate location would offer good access to the I4 and the 192 and perhaps cut down on driving time compared to the US27 - hope I am right
We have a 5 bed 4 bath villa booked, got a really good deal, only 4 of us staying so plenty room!

I think it will...we've stayed at both locations and whilst on a map they look on par, in practice the journey up the 27 then along the 192 took about 10 mins extra.

Publix is normally open til 9 not midnight, just incase you wander down there late. There is also Subway, an Italian and a French Creperie.
Have a lovely time, not long til we are back over ourselves.
