Edison Hotel New York

We are going to New York this Sept for 4 nights and we have made a reservation at the Edison hotel for a combo room 2 bedrooms.
Has anyone stayed at the Edison? I would really like to know what your thoughts are and if anyone has any photo's that would be great.

Some reports on tripadvisor are putting me off :(
