Pet Accessories?

Anyone know if there are any large pet stores that stock collars and 'leashes' different to the ones we get at Pets at Home?

Hi,
There is a store in downtown disney that is specifically for pets! Last year we bought new collars and leads plus toys for our 3 dogs all with disney motifs on them.

The one at Downtown Disney is called Pet Tails, went there last year and got loads of stuff for my two cats. Definitely paying them a visit again next year.

Does it stock pet beds?

Pretty sure they did large dog beds, they had collars and leashes and little charms for collars. I ended buying two cat bowls, cat mats and several toys which have definitely been well used and need replacing next year.

We have a 9 month old small puppy, so hopefully we'll find something nice to bring him back!

If you're into dressing up your pet they did costumes as well!!

Ha! I'm sure my dog would be thrilled. Especially chewing the outfit and shredding it. Probably best to stick to collars and toys!!!

There was a lovely little pet store in the Florida Mall. They did some lovely gourmet dog biscuits which looked good enough for us to eat. I brought some back and my dogs loved them. I also go them some personalised diamante dog collars.

Sorry to disappoint everyone but Pet Tails at DTD is no more :cry: . When we were out there in March it had been taken over by the $10 shop. There were a few reduced bits but nothing much. Poor Digey (my doggy!) was very upset. I can recommend the Gourmet Dog Bakery in Florida Mall (so can Digey :smile: ) and they had a few accessories. Not much in Biffa/labrador size though :(

Hi ...go out from I-Drive onto Sand Lake Road towards Florida Mall, about 3 miles down on right (set of lights) on right is a Lowes DIY store and a Walmart, to the right of the Walmart is a large pet store, it is massive and just one wall is all types of bedding from a small mat right up to kennels fit for a great dane.
In the middle is a pet arena for training but the sister in law didnt take my offer up :mad2: even when i said i would pay for it and a nice collar :thumbs-up , honestly some people just dont understand when i am trying to help :nonono: ......

As an earlier post said the one beside Walmart is fantastic, they even have a vet surgery, Grooming place and a cat rescue organisation in it, (the Kitties were so cute )

Disney Tails is still there!

I know it was there when we went last November and as you say Vabeth it was in the Pooh Corner shop. That's a relief not sure how I was going to tell Ziggy and Tigger the bad news!!!!!

There were just a few bits in Pooh corner. The Pet Tails window display was still intact but there were no pet things in there, just the $10 shop stuff.

Oh that's a shame! I've just looked on the WDW site and it's still showing as being in DTD! Very strange! :confused2

If i remember rightly i think Mousegear in Epcot had a few pet accessories! I'm sure i saw collars, name tags and toys in there! :wave:

Hi we were there in April and purchased Disney doggie bits including leads , toys and bowls. Still in The Pooh Corner shop I admit that there is not as much as they stocked a year ago but at least 3 or 4 aisles worth . They also had the outfits and make your own collars.

DTD is free you don't need a ticket to get in, so it may be worth a look. We stayed on site last year and found that the resort shops sold pet stuff as well.

the one by walmart and florida mall is petsmart it is a big store, very reasonable, we always get our dog presents from there they have some good stuff, while we were there they had training sessions going on it was fun to watch the puppies they were so cute.

last time we went, we found nice doggy stuff in a SuperTarget (the one up by Mall at Millenia I think), including nice little outfits!

There is a really cool pet shop at Old Town Kissimee which sells really good stuff. Still gutted i didn't buy a leather bikers cap for my Rottie.
