Diamond ring buyer question

Ok im not the first and wont be the last one to purchase a diamond ring whilst in florida with the exchange rate being so good but what i would like to ask is what do you do when coming home? Do you declare it or stick your hand in your pocket ;) and also if sticking it in pocket what do you do with the paper work and box? as to me if they scan your luggage they would probably see the ring/box or is that another department?

as far as im aware if you're wearing it you'll be fine just split the box and paperwork into different cases!

My wife wore the one I bought her and we arranged to have the box & paperwork mailed home

My (now DH) BF bought my engagement ring in Orlando - he didn't actually propose for another 4 months - but mine was in the case on the way home - or hand luggage maybe, without any drama.

It was also valued ay twice what he paid for it when valued in the UK.

You should do ;) our plans started when we were looking at the walmart site and me being me looked at rings then i leaned a bit more and went to abazias ;)
