We were looking for an I-Pod on our last visit, I seem to remember there was a shop in the Florida Mall.

I bought a version 6 30gb black Ipod two weeks ago from Walmart for £112 ($224). If you buy from Walmart keep your receipt as you can take it back to Asda here if it goes phut!!! I also bought the skins and case at the same time - so much cheaper. Best purchase in a long time. :D

We bought our DD's I-pods from BEST BUY. We took out the extended warraty on them and when something did go wrong with one of them, they sent a cheque no problems.

We bought ours from Bose. The warrenty was good.
We got 2 last week and they were $10 cheaper in Wallmart . They have an APPLE store in Mall at Milenia too.

Does Asda in the UK honour all products you buy in the USA Walmart if they go boom?
DD wanted to buy a mobile phone from Walmart as it's half the price in USA than here, but we were a bit worried in case it malfunctions when it's still under guarantee.

Yep - same organisation, and the store assistant also mentioned it.

Think I'll go with Walmart and use my credit card for insurance purposes.

The only way that you would be able to use an American cell phone over there is to have it unlocked and it would have to be able to work on whatever ban is used in your area. Most companies won't unlock the phones unless you pay the full price.

Me too! It was only a couple of ££s dearer than Walmart etc and I thought it was worth it for the warrenty.

Circuit City north of the Florida Mall has Ipods at a good price too. I'm after the 80gb version tho. :cool2:

After a 4gb nano when we go (with CharlotteAlice our niece) and think I'm gonna get mine from Walmart, feel more comfortable buying from Walmart incase something does go wrong with it. But I do have to say, Walmart has to have either green or blue in stock or it's the Apple store instead!
