have you tried travelex on-line? you can pick them up at the airport.i did this with our dollar's last year no hastle....well ass long as you don't forget your pasport :blush:

Out of the hole in the wall ATM when you arrive at the airport.

Then you are not carrying loads of money round with you. Get it out as you need it or if you have Maestro then plenty of places in Europe use it and its just like paying with your chip and pin at home.

we use M & S or the Post office. Definately don't take travellers cheques to Europe anymore.

Withdrawing money with debit cards is easy though never done it in Spain. But managed fine in France & Italy
