Hi
This is the first post I have done for ages. We have been to FLorida the last 3 years and sorry to say we're not going back until next year. However, on an additional holiday last year we diiscovered the wonderful resort of Cala Ferrera just outside of Cala D'or in Majorca. Does anyone know if its as easy to use travellers cheques there as it is in the US. We only went for a week last year and just took cash but for a 2 week trip, I wouldnt like to take too much cash. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Deb

we go to Cala D'or often and only take euro's i think you have to exchange them to use them.

yes in mallorca you do have to exchange them before use not like in florida ,and also exchange rates differ greatly so be carefull only do it where its says cash in your hand ,some say £100 = 145 euros but only give you about 140 euros when you challenge them they says its only on £1000 or more so be carefull .you will allways get a better rate on cash

thanks both of you. I think we have decided to take some cash but use credit cards to withdraw cash when we need it
Thanks
