I remember years ago you couldn't buy videos as ours were PAL and USA was NSTC.

What about DVDs?

I think we're region 2, can we buy DVDs in US and play them here?

What should we look out for?

The PAL/NTSC issue also affects DVDs, although most modern UK televisions can handle this nowadays - but it's best to check!

US DVDs are Region 1 so won't work on a UK DVD player unless it is specifically multi-region and again, can handle NTSC. The majority of DVD players sold now are multi-region, or if not can easily be made to be.
