Any (uk) suitcase sales yet?

Has anyone noticed if matalan / asda / tesco / etc. have started discounting suitcases yet? They don't seem to list things like that on their web sites.

Matalan have the half price ones again. I also saw some in Asda that were quite cheap.

I was in Matalan yesterday and they had the expandable lightweight ones 1/2 price. They also had a pull along handle if you wanted it. I know where I'll be going :grin:

Poundstretcher has just had an advert on the tv £15 for large wheelie cases.

I walked past Poundstretcher in town today and I saw they had some quite snazzy ones, so went in to inspect further!! I didn't see a price but they had a 5 year guarentee and looked really great cases!!

If they are still there when I next go to town I may just buy one (yet another case!!)

They were not too 'loud' but the 2 I saw were very pale pink and a mint green, so would stand out on the carousel.

When you pay that kind of price youre not to bothered if they get damaged.In the last 2 years 2 of our cases have been right offs on return so would never pay silly money again.

Totally agree - I have had both expensive and cheap cases and TBH I couldn't tell you the more expensive ones were better.

I've been on a few extended holidays (about 7 weeks) and have usually had to throw away the case on my return. When they haven't cost a fortune I don't mind, I've never been bothered to follow up on the guarantees, perhaps I should do.

We don't pay too much for cases either, they just get bashed about too much. On the Debenhams link, I can recommend the Tripp Harbour Large Suitcase, it's expandable and the maximum size you can take on a flight, I got it in the sale LAST Summer. :D

bhs have a sale on today only up to 50% off plus if you got a store card take a extra 20% off today only case where on sale didnt look no spare funds this month as i have just paid off the last bit of the holiday

We got the half price ones for Matalan, the large cases were £16 each and a good size. Well worth it!
