Charlotte I think there has been other polls about crocs - I think more people vote that they hate them, but I think they are secret croc wearers!! ;)

:shudder: Who can forget WWC (World War Croc)? Many innocents lost their lives in those ferocious battles. Who would imagine that such bloodshed could happen over footwear?

DH absolutely detests them and would not be caught dead in a pair. Meanwhile I am warming to the idea of buying a pair.... ;)

DS loves his blue ones.........

Since I saw them I always thought they'd be ideal for Mads. She loves light footwear and would live in flip-flops if she were able to. I nearly bought her some in New York in April but resisted in case she didn't like them. I decided to get her to look at them in a shop in Orlando and get her some there if she liked them.

A couple of weeks ago we went into a shoe shop in Bristol and she caught sight of them and went towards them in a trance-like state (I kid you not!), picked up a pair of the pale pink ones and tried them on. She absolutely loved them and wanted them there and then. I told her she could get some on holiday as we'll be able to get her 2 pairs there for the price of 1 here. Suzie tried some on as well and liked them and reckons they'll be ideal park footwear. Because of this I can see us going to the Croc shop in MCO before we even pick up the hire car!

I must admit, ugly as they are, I have warmed to them a little bit. I'm not a sandals man and sometimes trainers, even the lightest ones, are just too much on a hot day. I fear I may be suckered into Croc ownership in the next couple of weeks...

Hated them with a passion last year, but am warming to them. I am considering a pair of Athens for myself, and some Disney ones for the kids. Still think they are hideous, but if it means the kids can play in fountains etc without having to change their footwear, and also walking around in comfort i might just have to invest in some.

I hate the croc's as i said before and i am not, in any way, a secret croc wearer, and thats a promise, i can tell you that i have never thought of buying a pair, though i have seen a pair like ballet shoes which intrested me! i dont think i will get any though!!!

though i detest them i admit to playing croc watch when out and about:blush: lol
my friend owns a pair but luckyly (for her and me) she doesn't wear them outside!!!! though i dislike them i may end up with a pair- you no what it's like in florida when you see something.... and then by some magic force... it ends up in your suitcase.... yet later you realise that you have just bought something totally useless!!!! if i buy some on this trip i will shame myself and tell everyone on the dibb- though i am going with 2 croc haters who will try there best to stop me arriving back in england with a pair...
if i do end up with some... they will prob be the pirate ones!!!!!:blush:

I love em, i have a red and black pair of Athena ones which i neva took off my feet when walking around Disney, and i bought a black and red pair of Mickey Mouse ones from WDW and always have em on. DS also got a pair of red ones from WDW and loads of Jibbitz to go with em. When we are out and about people are always commentin on how cool they are.

I always have problems with my feet when i buy new shoes and end up with infected blisters, absolutely nothing with these they are like walkin on air.

Croc fans here! I have a pair of Butter Caymens and a pair of black Beach. 8 year old DD has a pair of lavender Scutes and some Fuchsia Caymens, DS has a pair of red Caymens and a pair of Sea Blue Caymens. He looks so sweet in them! 15 yr old DD has a pair of silver Primas! On the other hand, DH would rather stick pins in his eyes than wear a pair!

I voted I don't mind them. I own a pair but.........they are the ugliest looking piece of footwear ever to be made IMHO. However they are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. My feet hurt when walking but with these, no problem :thumbs-up

Will I be able to go to the croc shop on arriving at MCO or is the shop in the departure area?

I have voted hate them. While I appreciate that they are colourful and comfortable, they look so like operating theatre shoes. Therefore I would class them as boring work shoes!!

Thought they were ok but didn't feel the need to get a pair however it's amazing how many people you see wearing them in the UK! :spin: DD & I had a bit of a giggle :pgig: last Sat while in Shell petrol station, Dundee. An older man 60+ got out of his car. DD noticed the balding hair style style with long pony tail:nonono: ( she's very style conscious/critical:omg:!) and somewhat bedraggled fleece but couldn't contain her giggles when she saw his blue crocs!:thumbs-up

Interesting post this. I was at a wedding near Dublin last week and one of the guests wore a lovely hippie-style cotton dress with a pair of green crocs and she looked lovely. She knows I'm a Podiatrist so she got me to wear them for an hour. I must admit that I was well impressed with them as they had all the features I would look for in the 'ideal' shoe. I was a bit worried about the material they were made form but even with bare feet, they were really comfortable. I may take a look at buying a pair for the parks when I go back in October.

I love them. I have worn them for 18 months now, but wouldn't go out in them here. I did wear them around the Disney resort, but wouldn't go to the parks in them and I am in the older age range!!! :nonono:

I now have Fit Flops and absolutely love them too, but they do make my legs, backside and lower back ache! I keep hoping that is because they are doing some good!! :D

I agree that they look ugly, BUT, they are so comfortable!! Just bought my 1st pair (notice i am impyling there will be more than 1 pair!) while on holiday in Orlando in May and i can honestly say i've only worn shoes this week because of the rain, otherwise i'd still be wearing em!!

I think they are weird looking shoes - but they are SOOO comfy. I'm a new member of the 'Croc Club' having just bought my first pair two days ago, but I love them. They are great for wearing around the theme parks.

I am slowly warming to them, although i must admit i do prefer the shoe and sandel types over the cloggs. Last year DH hated them and would not have been seen dead with me if i had a pair, but now he is egging me on to buy a pair.....i may be persuaded yet :stitchbou :sulley

I love 'em....soooo comfy however my DH has banned me from wearing them in his presence....not because he thinks they are ugly but because I give him regular static shocks when we're out and about and I've got my crocs on! :erm: Has anyone else noticed a problem with static??? I'd be intrested to know as DH blames my Crocs however I'm not convinced it's them!

Why are so many people hung up about crocs? Why do people care if you love them or hate them? I personally have two pairs of clog style and a pair of the Athens flip flops, and they are the most comfiest shoes I've ever had. I don't like high heels I think they are the stupidest type of shoes any one can wear, but I don't bang on about people loving them or hating them!!!!!!!!!

Yep I've got the same problem when I wear mine, lots of static. My little one won't hold my hand when I've got them on, she keeps getting a shock, and before any one asks, she likes her crocs too :pgig: :pgig:

i bought my first two pairs two weeks ago. black nile and celery beach. black niles rubbed on the top of my foot, but i perservered and its worth the pain. today my third pair arrived so i am sitting wearing my pearl/pink disney crocs. i dont care that the whole of a secondary school think im mad. the comment "nice shoes miss", followed by a snigger does not make me ashamed.
i love my crocs and am a proud wearer!!!!!

I love my crocs! They were the only shoes that I could wear when my feet swelled up (due to my cellitus). They are great to wear at the water parks and are very comfy.

Have got two pairs, and will definetly be getting some more.
