gratuities not included in Dpp from Oct

It was posted on here yesterday from a CM (I think) but can't find it now that the tips will no longer be included in free DDP from oct 07 :omg: does anyone know anymore about it, or whether it applies to people who had already booked and paid for DDP thinking the tips would be included?

I thought tips were includes for 2007 but not from 2008.

It was mentioned on a thread yesterday, sorry i don't know how to do a hyperlink to it but it was posted by Princess Jilly and the thread was called called DDP tipping

I'm sure it probably means it is being announced in October for the 2008 season?? It would make a difference to us going for DDp again I think as it makes the whole thing less sttractive as a proposition, it is still a good deal if you intend to eat in those places anyway, but if you usually eat off site or on a smaller budget it isn't quite the same deal is it? :confused2

hey there, that was me that posted that. I was told this by another CM the other day so it is by no means the official word. Im sure disney will give plenty notice of the change when they decide to announce it.

as I posted on the original thread the cm I spoke to at reservations said the plan could not be changed before the end of the year because it was set for the whole year. I hope its right because at christmas we are a party of 11 and although we will tip extra, to tip the whole amount when we have already paid lots of money between us would make me cancel dining plan. :angry:

By the way princess jilly when we come to the Rose and Crown there will be only eight of us. :d:
