I was wondering about making an ADR for Chef Mickeys. We have done character breakfast at Poly on a previous visit but wanted to maybe do dinner - My DS is 12 (with an aversion to princesses!) and DD is 10.

Is it buffet? What's the food like? Would you recommend this or another character meal?

as far as buffets go it was ok. don't go expecting a gormet meal but kids should love it. we have been the last 2 holidays, each time there has been mickey, minnie, goofy, chip and dale and donald by the desserts. the food has been soup salads, a pasta dish and cavery meat (beef and turkey) with veg, kids choices too - mac n cheese. the best bit for me and dd alike is the dessert bar- cupcakes & ice cream with loads of different toppings. hope you like it

We love Chef Mickey's :mickey2: - we've been the last 2 years for dinner and this year we are going for Breakfast and Dinner. (DS has chosen this for his Birthday tea :cake: ).

The kids have the freedome to help themselves and return as many times as they want (and us adults too  )

I'm sure you will love CM.

Chef Mickys dinner : we found that the prime rib (ummmm) was carved a served to your plate. Parmesan potatoe ....The kids liked their food too, lots of as said above. You also get quite good character interaction (we saw micky giving minnie a hug) , Chip and Dale seemed to be favourites probably due to the interaction betwen them.
