I have just brought a Universal annual pass for myself to use in August 2008 so I can try and get the AP rate for staying onsite.

We wil need 2 more adult tickets for the trip.

Check here (http://secure.universalstudios.com/webstore/shop/ticket-selection-cart.aspx?Merchant=UOMainOnline&SalesCategoryGroup=UOMain&SalesCategory=UOTPTLive)for a 2 park 7 day ticket for $92.64 (£47) Adult after tax. The cheapest I've seen online for a 2 day (with 1 free) is about £55 (thats this years price)

Its a printable ticket or electronic pick up, just collect at the park.

I have e-mailed Universal to see if this ticket is valid for August 2008 and if you could use the AP discount, here's the reply.

Thank you for contacting the Universal Online Ticket Store. Our 2 Park Unlimited Admission ticket never expires until it is first used, so it will be valid in August 2008. Online tickets are already at a discounted price therefore there are no further discounts available for them. The annual pass discount is available on regular priced tickets purchased through our annual pass department. If you have further questions or need further assistance, please contact the online ticket store at 407-224-7840. Our hours are Monday - Friday 8am to 10pm and Saturday and Sunday 9am to 8pm. Thank you and have a great day!

That seems like an very good deal. I haven't really looked at tickets prices since our visit Oct 2006 and then we got a good deal on-line with the 2 day tic with 3 extra days and kids go free offer. I can't remember now how much that was but if I do my sums right here for the 5 of us this would be $516 for 7 days!! that's approx £7.80 each per day!!!! surely not?? We are currently looking to book for Oct 2008 (a year earlier than planned) and I am seriously thinking about getting this offer now as it is just so good. Thanks Mark for the info

I have a feeling that the tickets will go up in the new year again. Its a shame I can't get the same sort of deal with the Disney Tickets.
