Just got my tickets and it say on the back that they have to be signed at the park and photo id will be required(Passport). Will we have to take our passports out all the time with us or will a photocopy be acceptable? Don't really want to take full passport each time we visit a park.

I have never been asked for ID, but they do expect you to have signed the back of the tickets before first use.
Both Disney and Universal are now employing a system of taking a fingerprint with first use of the ticket and checking against this thereafter. Universals system is totally naff. 4 times out of 5, it didn't work, particularly with my youngest.
I always take my driving licence with me (you are supposed to if you are driving) when we are out but more in case some one wants to see id if you are using a travellers cheque. Again, I was only asked for this twice in small take away shops.

A copy of your passport personal details page or a photocard drivers licence ar acceptable forms of ID and easy to carry with you. If you can laminate the copy all the better as it will be much more durable.

we've never been asked for i.d when entering the parks but always in the bars and restuarants so this year we are taking black and white photocopies of our passports instead of the real ones just incase we lose them
