Has anybody ever stayed in a villa at celebration?? :spin:

I'm not sure that Celebration has villas for rental.

Hello, we wanted to buy a property in celebration, until we found out that you can only rent them out long term. There are no holiday rentals at all, as they want to keep it residential.
There's always the hotel??

The Celebration area covers an area much larger than the Celebration town built by Disney.
The villas advertised for short term rental are not in the "Stepford Wives" part, but in areas that use Celebration in the villa address.
Bit like owners Describing a villa as Kissimmee based , when in reality its in Davenport.

I think villa owners like to use the name Celebration as it gives the impression of that Disney perfection.

Maybe its just me but Celebration gived me the creeps, its like pleasantville, just too weird for me!

Lol Stu at the ''Stepford wives'' thats how I feel about the place but Im sure I am in a very small minority, I just couldnt live like that.

we love celebration too, it's so lovely to walk around the lake, the locals walking their dogs where very nice with my children and those just out for a stroll said "hi there"

after the hustle and bustle of the parks it made a pleasant change for us to have a quiet morning here, i can recommend the market street cafe for a gorgeous brekkie and Sherlocks for a little touch of england, warm scones with jam and cream :tounge:

Our friends live in Celebration and they like it, they are thinking about moving though as they live in a lovely 2 bedroom condo but all the fees you have to pay makes it a very expensive place to live, there are pool fees, gardening fees, car park fees for what they pay yearly they can afford to move elswhere to a bigger property with own private pool. Hope they buy a 5 bedroomed then all we will need are our flights!!! ;)

We would really like to visit Celebration when we go in Nov, but i know what you mean it seams to have that surreal edge to it.
