PSP Games?

DS bought himself a PSP with his birthday money and wants to know if he buys games on holiday will they work ok in his UK PSP?

i dont think so teresa as i think the discs are region coded :(
i only know you can buy ds games as there not discs

We bought a psp 2 years ago in Florida to work in UK, you can buy games in USA that work but not films. Hope this helps.

Many thanks all, DS is so excited that he can buy all the games he wants while we are there.He's not bothered about UMD's anyway.

Definitely do work as I bought a few games several weeks ago. They were so cheap, it would have been rude not to, tbh ;)

Yes, my son bought the Shrek the Third game for the PSP when we were there in June. PSP movies definately do not work.

The games are so much cheaper than over here.... :D

Yes all games will work on it but watch out for usa only versions (medal of honour heroes) as the online game you can play on it will work only with people from the usa servers. Basicaly fcant play your mates in scotland ec.

Also the movies are region coded like dvd are. as long as it says REGION2 then its fine to play on your PSP.

Check out circuit city and walmart for cheap games
