We are going for the first time in 3 weeksand are trying to work out a plan of attack for MK.
We intend to arrive for opening.
Then we thought DH could go to Space Mountain to get FP's and then could meet us by splash mountain which we could ride followed by big thunder mountain and thren go back to space to use FP.
This sounds all well and good but we have no idea on the distance between these rides. Can anyone advise please?
Slso what is your plan of attack at MK?
Thanks
Nikki.

Space Mountain is right at the start of the park , and Big Thunder is quite away away from it. I'd do Space first, than go over to Big Thunder get your Fast Pass and there's lots more to do near Big Thunder.

Walking - allow a good 15 mins, but bear in mind it will be hot hot hot, so probably longer! :wavey:

Depends. If you get there really early, you could do that.
But what you'd wanna do is get you DH to get them as soon as your through the gate while you walk on.
You could make it at the same time.
But. most people do splash mountain first.. so they can dry off during the day.

Assuming you are at the park for opening, you'll have no problem doing the big 3 in the first half hour. Our plan of attack usually involves getting Fastpasses for Space Mountain (maybe even riding it too) and Buzz then riding Buzz before the lines build up. This means that DD and I can ride Space Mountain later and DH and DS can ride Buzz again.
This won't take more than about 15 minutes then you can all head over to Frontierland through Fantasyland, it's no more than a 10 minute walk if you don't get sidetracked, and all ride Splash and Big Thunder by which time you should be able to get more Fastpasses if you wish to ride again later.
If you have little kids, I'd do things differently and just let one person go for the Space Mountain Fastpasses then meet them in Frontierland for Splash and Big Thunder. You'll never get through Fantasyland quickly with little kids!
We timed this last year and it was 15 mins with a brisk walk.

it all depends on what route you take.........space mountain is the furthest away from the entry to the park........go straight to space mountain......the queue might look long if you come early in the morning but dont worry they're only stacking you up.......it'll probably take you 10/15 mins to get to splash mountain
