View Full Version : how to book Disney hotel ???
 We have never stayed in a Disney hotel and would like to try one of the moderate ones.
Whats the best value way to book one for a few nights?
I have flights and car sorted so its just the hotel I need

You book it through Disney.co.uk or Cinder's mum (Val) who is a member here and a travel agent and may be able to get you a better deal :)

You can book direct with Disney either by phone or online or through a Disney specialist travel agent or tour operator who offers accommodation only bookings.
You can book through Disney.co.uk OR Disney.com or buy phoning CRO 001 407 W DISNEY (or through a travel agent like Val).
If you book through CRO then you pay in $ so you may get a better deal with the exchange rate, and if any discounts are released then you can get them added to your booking.
Disney.com or buy phoning CRO 001 407 WDW DISNEY (or through a travel agent like Val).
.
This is exactly what I am looking for - how to pay in $$ or via a TC such as Val. (I assume you get a good deal / room rather than per person?).
I am also looking for flights and car hire.
And of course someone who knows if/when any deals are available during the period I want to go - possibly next May.
The CRO and WDW DISNEY does puzzle me as my land line phone has no letters only numbers tho.
Sorry -CRO = Central Reservation Offince, and the number is 407-W-DISNEY (407-934-7639). - WDW DINE is for food and I got the 2 confuised.
if you book via any of the methods listed on this thread you will pay by the room, it's only package operators that charge by the person.
Deals are normally posted on here, but there is also a website called Mousesavers.com which has details - I think may is historically a good time for deals.
To get the best rates on rooms, you may need an Annual Pass- it can be cost effective to buy 1 AP just to get the discounted hotel rate.
Also if you book with Disney.com (or 1-407-934-7639) you only pay a one-night deposit now, the balance is due when you arrive. I don't know how that works with disney.co.uk or travel agents though.

expedia often have deals, nights free when you stay for so long
Recently I have found expedia too expensive in comparison to other online agents and they are saying no availability for my dates which is rubbish coz I can get then thru disney.co.uk

I got Beach Club Villas through a US agent who got me for a considerable amount less than Disney.co.uk. If you get a US booking Disney often reduce rates (if they have a load of rooms over) a couple of months before your arrival date and this new rate can be applied.
expedia can only quote prices once the us website has released its prices for 2008 rooms, which happened yesterday so expedia should have availability now
