:jump: Hi Kylie, we use the Golden Corral on the 192, all you can eat breakfasts were 5-6 dollars, lunch 6-7 dollars and dinner 9-10 dollars, we last went in Nov/ Dec 2002 :jump:

We ended up using the Golden Corral more but the Ponderosa was as good as it has been in the past. We actually introduced friends of ours who were on their third trip but had never actually eaten in a ponderosa to the delights of the never ending buffet.

All you can eat breakfast buffet at the Ponderosa is $3.99 + tax.
When you've finished and they bring your sweeties, you'll be given a coupon entitling all in your group to only pay $3.75 (+tax)on your next visit.
We didn't use the Ponderosa for lunch/dinner buffets: instead we went to the 'Ace Plus' Chinese buffet at the end of 192 (about mile marker 2). It's the most incredible buffet we've ever seen!! Lunch is only $5.75 + tax (and there are 10% off coupons in some of the mags.)
It's got all the chinese you could ever want + basic American etc.
Enjoy!

a nifty tip for you, we got to Ponderosa right at the end of breakfast one day last year, I think it was around 11am, and we paid for breakfast and went in. While we were there they took all the breakfast food away and brought out all the lunch things, which we were able to eat. It looked like there were quite a few regulars who did this to get a cheap lunch.

Golden Coral prices are up a dollar on those listed above. Ponderosa must be better though as we couldnt get in. We tried every day for a week, Ponderosa's had queue's out the door for breakfast.

The Golden Corral is the more expensive but IMHO is far superior to The Ponderosa. Not that the Ponderosa is bad it isn't.
