Hi
We are coming back to Disney, not till 2010, but wanted to book something special as we are bringing our inlaws.
I stumbled upon the Disney 3 day cruise to the Bahamas. It's not something I would have ever thought about, but the more I look at it, the more I like it.
As we are paying for inlaws, money is at a budget. So how much just roughly does it cost for the three day cruises.
Where can I book this in uk, tried the disney cruise line site but can't get into it for some reason?
Thanks everyone
Sarah

Hi there
Welcome to the forum. Hopefully you'll get all the info you need here. DON'T BOOK THROUGH A UK TRAVEL AGENT THEY COST A FORTUNE. I made this mistake and by reading lots of great info on this forum I cancelled with UK agent and Booked with Dreams Unlimited. (a USA Travel Agent) I saved £637 by doing this for a 3 night cruise for 2 ad and 2 ch. There are various other US T/A you can try If you google Disney Cruise line you will get a number of good ones. i.e Vacationstogo and others. Get quotes from them all and make your mind up from there. You can book direct with DCL and then transfer to a T/A so that you can get extra Onboard Credits. A good book to buy is Passporter'sField Guide to Disney Cruise Line. It gives you all the details and websites for everything you need to know prior to the cruise and excursions you can do when onboard. I got mine off Amazon.
Don't be afraid to ask. There's always someone out there who'll be able to give you very good advice.
Hope this helps
Jackie :)

Hi Jackie
Thanks for that. Can I be cheeky and ask how much the cruise cost you for your family? Is the the three night cruise you are on?
Thanks

You should be able to book approx 18 months before sail date - the earlier you book with a US T/A or direct with DCL, the cheaper.
How much it costs depends very much on the season, and the grade of cabin you choose (and how early you book - bearing in mind deposits with the latter are fully refundable/ transferable up till 75 days before sailing, in most cases)
...anything from around £200pp upwards very roughly.

Welcome!!
We did our very 1st cruise back in Feb, 3 night Disney Wonder, 2 Adults, a child age 12 & a toddler of 21 months cost us approx £700.
It seemed expensive to us having never done it before but it was my 40th birthday treat so we decided to splash out!!
It was probably the best £700 ever spent as we had such a great time & now doesnt seem expensive at all!!

I will also add that if you get some quotes from the US travel agents that most UK Cruise agents will price match it. I booked our 7 day in the UK and haven't beaten the price we paid yet... (and I kept trying even after I booked it!!)

Hi Sarah,
We booked our cruise for Jan 2008 12 months in advance, for a 3 night cruise to Bahamas. We were suprised by price, We booked 2 cabins a cat 12 for 2 adults and 5 yr old £450 and at cat 5 with a balcony £550. :D
We have found that the prices are steadily increasing as the days pass, so you need to book early, but were impressed with price.
Hope this helps :spin:

We booked through Disney, had never thought of a cruise, it was my husbands suggestion, we couldnt believe the price, we went for the basic cat 12 and we are happy with that but grandma and grandad have always wanted to sit on a balcony enjoying sundowners, us lot are a naval family and some traditions never die!!
But yes got them at those prices we didnt get any onboard credit but hey yo - were not bothered. :D
