Hi
It has never entered my head I may want to do a cruise, not overly keen on sailing, but I happened upon this forum by accident and after studying disney cruise line, I think it looks fantastic and will fit into our two week holiday perfectly.
We are not going till 2010 but are taking our inlaws and I think they would love this!

I am living , breathing cruise information at the moment.
Did any of you just decide to do a cruise, having never done one?
Did it live up to your expectations, or did you wish you had stayed on land.

I am a bit nervous, anyone see Poseidon lately??????
But the way I figure, its as safe as flying and you have to do these experiences as life is too short!

Sarah, as you so rightly say, you just ahve to try these things or you'll never know! :spin:

We suddenly decided we'd like to do our first cruise when we were deciding on our honeymoon a few years ago :) we'd seen some photo's a friend had taken of his cruise and liked the look of it. We did it with hardly any planning really (we certainly know loads more now!)....but we were absolutley hooked and have just taken our 4th cruise :d:

I think it's the most relaxing way of holidaying ever, as well as a great way of visiting different places for a 'taster' :) I always come away feeling very pampered and spoilt!

Happy planning!

Life is too short - mmm yes.

I booked meditterrean disney Cruise and it was very expensive one.

Glad I booked it and it was best one.

I pushed my father in law to come along and he didn't want to come then special offer at Cat 12 so I asked them to come along. They did and fil loved it and wish to go back again!!

We had a great times, very smooth sailing and had a lovely weather as everything went great.

Fil want to go back again not at Florida/Orlando but I heard rumour that Disney Magic Cruise will be back in 2009!! I told them save up now for 2009 as Northern Europe.

We were watching the film of Poseidon, I glad that my childrens didnt watch it. But when we were on the Cruise, we don't think that happen as everything there, show, clubs, dancing, food and drinks, beverage.

Oh yes, see the sunset, that was absoloutely beautiful and make me fall in love with Disney Cruise.

New two ships come out on 2011/2012 as it will be my special birthday and thinking about it, start save up now for it.

We are going to Disney Cruise again in May 08 for Panama Canal and looking forward to.

Hi Sarah

Yes ~ I went through exactly what you are going through now...

We have never been on a cruise yet (first one in November) and I became completely obsessed with cruising!! I am over it now and have taken on the realistic approach!! (think I just have an addictive personality!!)

Anyway ~ from what I can see they look amazing! We are going on Freedom of the Seas (Royal Caribbean International) and my parents in law have decided to join us.

It happened completely out of the blue as DH wasn't wanting to go back to Florida so I had to find a way to convince him!!! This was it :) The rock climbing wall, the ice skating rink and the flow rider along with the mini golf all appealed to him and we also feel we can go and check out some other countries for a day and see if we fancy going there for longer again!

We also got a balcony cabins as I LOVE sunrises and sunsets and also am prone to motion sickness so thought I would like to see the horizon! It also gives us someplace to sit whilst the kids are in bed rather than sitting directly in the room with them!

GO FOR IT!!!

We had never really thought about it until we read this new forum and decided it really sounded fun as there were next to no poor reviews.
We have booked a cat 3 for next November and are looking forward to it.

It gives you a whole new twist to a Disney holiday.....just when you think you have done it all (or nearly all) in Orlando.......you can start on a whole new adventure :d:

But it is very addictive.....
