Booked fuengirola !!

Blimey...
well i finally did it......I booked a week in fuengirola for my hubby and I...........without the kids :omg: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DH and I really need this break as I have had a rough few years (heartache over my dad) and need a total break, BUT it feels really wrong to be going away without my kids, does anyone else feel like this???? or is it just me???
I know they will be well looked after although no one can look after them like I can (sorry but its true no one can look after your kids like you do). So why do I feel like this?

Also has anyone been to fuengirola and if so can the recommend places to visit or places to eat?

I do know how you feel, but I am assuming the kids will be going somewhere safe like Granny's house? They will have a fab time on their holiday and you will be all ready to enjoy each other when you get back. I think a little time apart from the kids is healthy - not all the time, but just an occasional break is just fine.

Sounds fab Sarah. It looks like youve set the countdown up already. Dont even think about feeling guilty! The kids will be well looked after.

I know exactly how you feel, however dont be guilty, you deserve this time away and it will do you a world of good. We go away every year without the kids, just to totally rewind and chill. I also think the kids love spending qaulity time with their grandparents.

Dont feel guilty, your entitled to some chilling time, have fun and great choice too. :thumbs-up

the boys are staying here at home and my mum is coming here to look after them, they will be at school during the days but still feels odd lol

Sarah you will have a great time, dont worry about the kids, they will be fine, where are you staying, Fuengirola is about 20 mins from me

I went to Fuengirola a few years ago. Its a nice clean resort and there are plenty of places you can visit from there. Gibraltar to name but one is not far. Have a wonderful time
