Oh that is pity, you should take him to Barcelona where the Disney Cruise but it is end by 18th August as Disney Cruise are going back to Florida.

Maybe wait until 2009 as there will be another europe with disney cruise.

Otherway, you can drive down to Southampton as there are Royal Carribbean cruise there for europe.

Has he ever been on a plane? It might be worth enquiring about one of those courses some of the airlines offer for people like your boyfriend. It doesn't always cure the fear, but it does address a lot of the questions they have about flying to the point they tolerate it.
