We always love to have a tasty snack from the Boulangerie. It’s set in the liitle cobbled courtyard just behind Chefs de France.
Paul goes in to order the food whilst I pop across the ‘road’ to Le Vins du France for the drinks.
I like to get the sampler, it’s only a little taster but I like the variety. They give you a paper mat with the description of the wines now.
We had veggie quiche (which they quickly warm through in the oven) and Crème Brulee – both were creamy and rich and delicious.
The veggie quiche isn't listed on the menu outside, but it's always available.
Another treat we found in France this time was an alcoholic slushie drink. :spin:
I had Grand Marnier and Orange and Paul had Grey Goose Vodka and Lemon.
They slipped down rather well on a hot summer’s day ;)
I think I’ll choose the vodka one next time as it was a bit more refreshing.
