Cantina San Angel

Another eatery that doesn’t advertise a veggie special is the Cantina at Mexico.
I can’t remember how we found out about it initially, but they do serve a vegetarian Black Bean Burrito.
It’s really tasty and filling. Just ask for it at the counter - they are not in the least fazed by the request.
Bit of a problem today though!
As I tucked into our meal, among the beans I noticed some minced meat. I quickly realised they had given us the beef Burritos by mistake! :omg:
I eat meat nowadays and it didn’t upset me too much, but I knew how horrified Paul would be to find he was eating meat!
I alerted him before he had a chance to eat any of it, and he immediately took it back. They apologised profusely and gave him a refund.
He was a rather irritated to say the least - but was soon pacified by the calming effect of his chilled Dos Equis :d:

The first food pic is the beef Burrito the second is the veggie one.

I'm so relieved I spotted the meat before Paul did
Actually the beef one tasted pretty nice, I'd have it again.
I usually get the veggie black bean one though, as it's very tasty and only costs $4.79

Nice picture of Paul looking relaxed there Sue. Pleased to see that even scullery maids get the odd day off these days!

Very careless of them. I have to say refried beans makes me gag.
